About Star 24/7 Plumbing
Star 24/7 Plumbing is a call-only plumbing service at 10166 W State St, Star, ID 83669. Our line is open 24/7 for emergencies, and we send plumbers to homes and businesses in Star, Middleton, and Eagle.
This page explains how we work, what to expect when you call, and where our limits are. We would rather you know those things before you dial than find out halfway through a leak.
Who we are
We are a team of licensed and insured plumbers working out of Star, Idaho. We handle the jobs that actually come up in houses here: clogged drains, leaking water heaters, burst pipes, failing sewer lines, running toilets, and the planned work that goes with them.
We do not list owner names, a founding story, or a head count on this site. What we can tell you plainly is where we are, when we answer, and how we handle a job once you call. The rest of this page covers exactly that.
Why we only work by phone
There are no forms on this site, no chat box, and no booking calendar. You call (208) 679-8357 and a person talks with you about the problem. A plumbing leak or a backed-up drain is hard to describe in a text field, and a short conversation gets a plumber headed the right way faster.
That also means nothing sits in an inbox overnight. Whether it is 2 p.m. or 2 a.m., the line is the only door, and it is always open.
How a job goes
Every job follows the same short path. We keep it simple so you always know what comes next.
You call
Tell the dispatcher what you see, hear, or smell, and where the water or backup is. We will say what to shut off while you wait.
We schedule the visit
Same-day appointments are offered when available. We do not promise an arrival window, because we would rather be honest than early on paper.
A plumber looks first
The plumber checks the problem before any work starts and explains what is wrong in plain words.
You hear the price
You get a clear price before work starts. If the job changes once we open a wall or a line, we stop and tell you before going further.
What we work on
Our work falls into two groups. Emergencies are the jobs that cannot wait, such as burst pipe repair, a backed-up main, or a heater that has stopped making hot water. Planned work is everything you can schedule, like a new fixture, a heater swap, or a full pipe replacement.
The services page lists all of it, grouped by the problem you are trying to solve. If your situation does not match a heading, call anyway. Many calls start with a vague symptom and end with a specific diagnosis.
Where we work
We serve Star in Ada County, Middleton in Canyon County, and Eagle in Ada County. Our address on State Street puts us on State Highway 44, the main road that links Middleton to the west and Eagle to the east.
Each town has its own page: Middleton emergency plumbing and Eagle emergency plumbing. The service area page shows ZIP codes and the nearby cities, such as Meridian, Nampa, and Caldwell, that people sometimes ask us about. Call and we will tell you straight whether we can reach you.
How to check any plumber's license
Do this with every plumber you hire, including us. The Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses (DOPL) Plumbing Board runs an online license search, and you can phone DOPL at (208) 334-3233 with questions. A few minutes with that search tells you whether the person at your door is licensed.
Idaho also requires a permit when plumbing work is done, and DOPL requires inspections at ground work, rough-in, and final stages. Ask any plumber who will pull the permit. A plumber who shrugs at that question is a plumber to skip.
What we will not do
- We will not quote a firm price over the phone for a problem we have not seen. A guess on the phone helps nobody.
- We will not promise an arrival time. Traffic, job length, and weather all change it.
- We will not handle a gas leak. If you smell gas, leave the building, then call the gas utility or 911 before you call a plumber.
- We will not pad a job. If a cheaper repair solves the problem, we will say so.
- We will not pretend to know things we cannot verify, such as who owns a particular sewer line. For that, the sewer district or your city office has the record.
